Static bark control collar is the best form of bark deterrent for all breeds of dog. The anti barking collars are very sophisticated and deliver a very humane, even gentle, stimulation to the pet to eliminate unwanted barking behaviours. As the name implies, these collars deliver a mild electrical stimulation which start at a low level and automatically increases if the dog does not stop barking. Once the dog stops barking, the bark collar automatically drops back down a level.
How much voltage or power is delivered by a static bark collar ? ANSWER: About 2 volts @ 20 Milliamps.

Spray Anti Barking Collar - Good Solution
A citronella or spray collar bark collar is activated when the dogs bark. It emits a scented or unscented spray in or near the dog nose/snout. This style of bark collar has a 75-77% success rate, in particular with scent driven dogs. The Innotek Citronella Spray collar will work with the majority of dogs thanks to the fact it is waterproof and has both a vibration sensor and microphone for maximum effectiveness.
Sonic or Ultrasonic Barking collar - Less Effective than Static or Spray
The basic operation of behind the use of ultrasonic devices is that every time a dog barks, the device will give off an ultrasonic or sonic sound that the majority of dogs dislike. The dogs then figure out that the sound follows their barking, and to avoid the sound, they are more inclined to reduce their nuisance barking.
In terms of ultrasonic bark control, these devices come in both collar and collarless options and have a 66-68% success rate. It is a great option when dealing with neighbours dogs.
With all this in mind, we recommend that you contact us prior to selecting an ultrasonic product, so that we can advise as to which system is going to be better suited to your situation. It is important to take into consideration that the devices often take a month to 6 weeks before real results are seen, this timeframe can be extended if there are several dogs.
In addition to bark control devices you may consider other forms of bark control such as Kong toys. If the toy does not keep your dog happy always consider Citronella, Static or Sonic stop bark collars to stop nuisance dog barking.
