The SportDOG Barking Collar SBC18 (same as Petsafe DBC-100 Deluxe bark control collar) will never mistake anything for your dog's bark except, well, your dog's bark. The patented design requires both the sound of your dog's bark and a tangible vibration from the barking dog's voice box to occur at the same time before it corrects your dog. Every other bark control collar available triggers off one or the other, but not both. Simple to use. Just turn the battery to the on position, put it on your dog and select the correction range you want. Hear the quiet?

Contact Probes:
The two metal probes deliver the safe correction. Level of correction is automatic ad justified.

Dual Sensor:
The SportDOG SBC18 anti bark collar has built in microphone and vibration dual sensor. The microphone sensor is able to pick up all the barking, howling and yapping of your dogs. Vibration sensor probe detect the vibration from dog’s voice box. When the dog barks, the vibration from voice box triggers the sensor. So only the dog that wears the bark collar is able to activate it.
Please Note: The vibration sensor probe is not adjustable or removable.

Low battery indicator: The indicator light of the collar will begin flashing when the battery is low.
Please note: the indicator light will only show when the battery is low; it won't flash when delivering a static correction.

How the SportDOG SBC18 barking collar works to stop dogs barking:

The SportDOG SBC18 barking collar has 3 settings (low, medium and high) each with 6 levels of self-adjusting correction and a warning tone. When a dog is barking while wearing the collar, the built-in vibration  and microphone sensor detects the dog barking and the collar emits the lowest level of correction. If the dog is not deterred by the first level of correction and starts barking again within 30 seconds, the bark control collar will automatically increase and emit the second level of correction. Each successive bark from the dog will increase the correction level if the barking is within 30 seconds of the previous bark. If the dog stops barking for at least 30 seconds, the anti bark collar will reset back to the lowest level and the process starts all over again.

 

The SportDOG Deluxe bark control collar has a safety feature built in which will automatically shut off the anti bark collar for a period of 3 minutes if your dog barks 15 times or more in a 50 second period.
