How the Contech ScatMat - Cat & Dog Deterrent works:

The Contech ScatMat works by delivering a safe, harmless static pulse when your cat/dog touches the mat. The static pulse feels just like when you walk on the carpet and then touch someone else; it's not painful, just surprising.

After a few encounters with the Contech ScatMat, cats & dogs will associate the static corrections with the areas that the ScatMat is placed and quickly learn to avoid those areas!

The Contech ScatMat has 3 levels of intensity and works for both cats & dogs. Since the ScatMat dog repellent is battery-operated you can move it to any part of the house that you wish. (Requires 9V Alkaline battery, not included)
