How it works:

It works by delivering a safe, harmless static pulse when your pet touches the mat. The static pulse feels just like when you walk on the carpet and then touch someone else, it's not painful, just surprising.

After a few encounters with the Contech ScatMat, pets will associate the static corrections with the areas that the mat is placed and quickly learn to avoid those areas!

The Contech ScatMat pet deterrent has 3 levels of intensity and works for both cats & dogs. Since the ScatMat is battery-operated you can move it to any part of the house that you wish. (Requires 9V Alkaline battery, not included)
