Just simply insert this Surge Protector between the containment system loop wire and the transmitter, then attach the ground wire to ground rod. When the lightning hits the power supply of your containment system directly, this lightning protector will dissipate the lightning into the ground and protect the containment system's transmitter. The length of the ground wire is about 1 metre.
